Jennifer Garner sparked rumors that she and her back-on beau, John Miller, are engaged when she rocked what appeared to be an engagement ring during a Nov. 2 Instagram Live. The mother of three noticeably moved the eyebrow-raising bling from her ring finger to her middle finger during a Nov. 3 outing in Los Angeles. She’s yet to address the speculation she quietly got engaged … and it’s unlikely she ever will! In fact, when a paparazzi videographer told her “congratulations” on Nov. 3, she fired back with a super-sarcastic, “Oh, please!”

In a lengthy essay for The Daily Mail that debuted online on Oct. 29, Alice Evans opens up about “the catastrophic meltdown” of her marriage with “Fantastic Four” alum Ioan Gruffudd, writing that things between them soured while he was shooting the TV show “Harrow” in Australia amid the coronavirus pandemic. “I’d been on my own in Los Angeles throughout most of the pandemic lockdown, looking after our [two] daughters. … I’d had this sense for months that something wasn’t quite right. But whenever I brought it up with Ioan he would tell me I was imagining things,” she writes, adding that as “people all over the world were frantically trying to get back to their families from abroad,” the Welsh actor made it clear he wanted to stay on set. When he finally returned to L.A. in April 2020, he and Alice shared their last good times together: “We laughed, we had more sex than usual, he kept telling me over and over how much he loved me. I thought we were in love and happy again and that everything was all right,” she writes, noting that things took another turn after Ioan briefly returned to Australia in the summer of 2020. During one fight, he snapped at her, “I can’t stand you. You’re so annoying.” He then told her, “I don’t love you anymore.” He moved out of their marital home in January 2021 and soon filed for divorce. (The “102 Dalmatians” star claims she “only found out he’d filed for divorce” when she “read it on a gossip website.”) Alice goes on to write that throughout the breakup, Ioan “denied he was seeing someone else.” She makes it clear, however, that she believes he’d already fallen for his new girlfriend: aspiring actress Bianca Wallace, who worked as an extra on “Harrow” and whom he debuted on Instagram in late October 2021. “Had he been honest, had he said, ‘I have fallen in love with someone else,’ then perhaps I wouldn’t have been so tormented,” writes the mother of two, adding that she’s aired their dirty laundry on social media because she’s found comfort in the support of strangers. She also drops this bombshell of her ex, “[He] told me several times over the years that he couldn’t abide fatties and that he would leave if I gained weight.” She concludes by saying she’s “not interested in finding another man.”

On the Nov. 2 episode of “The Howard Stern Show,” Kristen Stewart revealed that she’s engaged to her girlfriend of more than two years, Dylan Meyer. “We’re marrying — it’s happening,” she said, noting that it was the screenwriter who ultimately popped the question. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. It was really cute — she did very well,” the actress said, adding that she “wasn’t specific at all” in terms of what she was hoping for with the proposal and that it was “not a given” that she would be the one to propose to Dylan after she said during a late 2019 appearance on “The Howard Stern Show” that she “absolutely” planned to propose. “With two girls, you never know, like, who’s going to fulfill what weird f****** gender role thing. We don’t do that or think about it in those terms. So I was like, wait, well, I’m not ‘the one’ for sure. So I was kind of joking for a bit, like, ‘No, I want to be the one to propose.’ [But] I want to be proposed to. Then she just grabbed that bull [by the horns] and made it happen,” the “Twilight” alum dished. She later revealed on the “Today” show that she and Dylan got engaged “months ago.”

During a Nov. 2 chat with a TMZ videographer at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, Cynthia Bailey and her husband of a year, Mike Hill, shot down rumors that he sent compromising photos and videos to another woman via Snapchat. (The individual who made the allegations on social media has since deleted the Instagram account that shared purported evidence of the sportscaster’s infidelity. The “evidence” did not show Mike’s face, and there’s no proof the photos or videos are actually of him.) “Not true,” Mike said of the unsubstantiated rumors, which the former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star described as “very annoying.” Added Cynthia, “We’re great. … Rumors are rumors.” Mike went on to say that if the gossip continues, they’ll “absolutely” consider taking legal action against his accuser. “I have no idea who it is, and it’s not true,” Mike concluded, adding that he hopes the accuser gets “help.”

Kim Kardashian West and Pete Davidson had back-to-back date nights on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 — less than a week after they first sparked romance rumors by holding hands while riding a roller coaster at Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, California, on Oct. 29. After moving things to New York and sharing an intimate dinner at Campania, a restaurant in the comedian’s native Staten Island, on Nov. 2, they joined a group of friends for dinner at Zero Bond in Manhattan on Nov. 3. (According to a Page Six spy, “they were smiling and laughing a lot and seemed genuinely affectionate with each other” during the second dinner.) “They hang in the same circles so they will be together from time to time. It’s just friends hanging out,” a source initially told People magazine of the pair, who’ve been friendly for years (they spent time together with Kim’s estranged husband, Kanye West, back in 2019) and reconnected when Kim hosted the Oct. 9 episode of “Saturday Night Live.” (They even kissed during a sketch spoofing “Aladdin.”) On Nov. 2, however, People reported that, according to a second source, Kim and Pete “have chemistry” and are having “fun” together. “Pete can be super charming and Kim loves the attention,” said the second source. “She is having fun and enjoying life. Her focus is still on her kids and work, but you can tell that she is ready to date. She is very happy and in a good place. She has moved on from Kanye and feels it’s for the best.” Meanwhile, a Page Six source said that the mother of four “is intrigued” by Pete and “likes him.” On Nov. 3, an E! News source insisted that things between the reality star and the funnyman are “definitely casual” but added that “whatever is going on between them is exciting to her.” Said the E! source, “Kim isn’t looking to date anyone right now. She’s loving this time in her life and is having a lot of fun. There is no pressure between them. … Pete is a very chill and casual guy, and she likes that.” Echoed a second E! source, “Kim thinks Pete’s hilarious. Pete is quite the charmer and she totally understands the allure. Kim loves that they just laugh the entire time they are together and she is really enjoying hanging out with him.”

E! News reported on Nov. 4 that, according to a source, Sofia Richie and her boyfriend of less than a year, Elliot Grainge, are “very serious” and have “talked about getting engaged.” Said the source, “It’s something that Sofia wants and is looking forward to. They are a great match and it’s going really well. Sofia and Elliot currently live together and the adjustment has been so easy and seamless. … They have truly formed a solid bond recently and Sofia loves that they don’t have any drama. She loves how chill and calm Elliot is and they have a lot of fun together, even when they’re just being low-key at home.”

In other possible engagement bling news… After Kylie Jenner was seen wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring and also what appeared to be a wedding band, the Internet erupted with whispers that the makeup mogul had either accepted a marriage proposal from her off-and-on love of several years, Travis Scott, or quietly married him. On Nov. 2, however, E! News reported that, according to a source, the “speculation is not true at all” and “they are not engaged.” The reality star and the rapper, who share daughter Stormi Webster, are currently expecting their second child together.

On Oct. 28 — the same day Zayn Malik denied a bombshell TMZ report alleging he was involved in a late September physical altercation with Gigi Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, and a day before he pleaded no contest to multiple charges of harassment against the mother-daughter duo — multiple sources confirmed to People magazine that the off-and-on couple of six years, who welcomed daughter Khai in 2020, recently called it quits again. “They are not together right now. They are both good parents though,” said one source. TMZ also reported that Gigi and Zayn split around the time of the September incident with the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum. It’s unclear, however, if they split before Zayn’s altercation with Yolanda — which went down at Gigi’s home while the supermodel was working in Paris — or as a result of it. An Us Weekly source implied the breakup isn’t new, dishing that Zayn and Gigi “silently separated” earlier this year after they “just grew apart,” though they “still care deeply for each other.” Explained the source, “They’d been having problems for a while and tried to figure them out, but it just wasn’t working.” A second Us Weekly source had a harsher take on the situation, alleging that the off-and-on couple “had a very destructive relationship when they were together romantically” and that “it’s much better that they have separated.”

On Nov. 2, The Sun reported that Liv Tyler quietly split from her fiancé of six years — David Beckham’s best friend and business partner, Dave Gardner — in March following seven years of coupledom and two kids together. The breakup is said to be “entirely amicable.” According to a source, the duo “are a great team as parents” but have “grown apart” and are now “living separate lives.” Said the source, “Both wanted to focus on their careers — her acting and producing, and Dave running his business and working on David’s Inter Miami football project. They officially parted ways back in March but they’ve kept it quiet so as to minimize the fuss and ensure their kids were OK. They’ve now come out the other side and are the best of pals. They even went on holiday together this summer.” Liv has reportedly relocated from London — where she lived with David and where he remains — to Los Angeles.
Kristin Chenoweth took to Instagram on Oct. 29 to announce that she’s engaged to her boyfriend of three years, guitarist Josh Bryant. “Guess you’re stuck with me now, @joshbguitar. I love you and I’m never letting you go. A million times yes!!!” she captioned a slideshow of photos depicting the proposal. Josh, meanwhile, captioned his own slideshow of proposal pics, “She said YES!!! Happiest day of my life! She is perfect in every way and I will always love you baby! I will cherish you forever.” According to People magazine, the musician popped the question with a De Beers Forevermark by Rahaminov three-stone Halo ring on the rooftop of New York City’s Rainbow Room on Oct. 27. The happy couple also told Vogue that they first met in 2016 when his band, Backroad Anthem, played at her niece’s wedding. They crossed paths again when the country-rock group played at her nephew’s 2018 nuptials and started dating that August.
During an interview with People magazine that hit the Internet on Oct. 31, Kal Penn revealed that he’s gay and engaged to his partner of more than a decade, a man named Josh whom he met in Washington, D.C., when he took a break from acting to work for the Obama administration. While discussing his new memoir “You Can’t Be Serious,” which debuted on Nov. 2, the “Harold & Kumar” star said that he’s “excited to share our relationship with readers” after keeping his love life publicly under wraps because Josh and their families “don’t love attention and shy away from the limelight.” The “House” and “Designated Survivor” alum also told People that “the big disagreement now” is whether to have “a huge wedding or a tiny wedding.” Said the actor, “I want the big a** Indian wedding. Josh hates attention [and has said], ‘Or we could just do quick 20-minute thing with our families and that’s it.’ So we have to meet halfway in the middle.”
On Nov. 2 — after more than a month of questions about Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline’s relationship status — Page Six confirmed that the “Outer Banks” co-stars recently called it quits after more than a year of coupledom. “[They] are not together anymore. It’s no secret among those who know them that they broke up,” said one source. A second source added that “things got rocky between Chase and Madelyn in September,” and by October, “they were openly talking to friends about the breakup.” On Nov. 3, E! News reported that, according to a source, the co-stars “have been done for a while,” and Madelyn “has been over it for a long time and talking to other people casually.” The insider added that the actress is “just kind of living her single girl moment.” In late October, she sparked romance rumors with Ross Butler, though the “13 Reasons Why” actor later told TMZ she’s “just a friend” whom he “just met” and doesn’t “know too well.”
On the Oct. 28 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Padma Lakshmi revealed that she’s currently “single.” It was the first indication that her relationship with poet Terrance Hayes had come to an end. The pair were first linked in June.
During an Oct. 28 interview with Us Weekly, Jaime King revealed that she’s “not dating” anyone at the moment. It was the first indication that her relationship of about a year with activist-entrepreneur Sennett Devermont had come to an end. The following day, Page Six reported that, according to a source, the duo split at the “beginning of fall” after their relationship had “run its course.” Said the source, “They met [while in lockdown during] COVID and were together through that, and then she had to work. She filmed a movie and he was there for that, but then, in the summer, she filmed two movies away and he didn’t go. She was away from him for three months, and then it just kind of wasn’t there anymore.”
On Nov. 2, “Sister Wives” star Christine Brown took to Instagram to announce that she and Kody Brown are going their separate ways. “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave. We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our [six] beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family,” she wrote. Kody, meanwhile, wrote on his own Instagram, “Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her. Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.” The 15th season of the polygamist family’s TLC reality show, which aired in the spring, documented the breakdown of the relationship between Christine and Kody, who never legally married but entered into a spiritual union in 1994. (Kody is legally married to Robyn Brown and also has spiritual unions with Meri Brown, whom he divorced in 2014 to marry Robyn so he could give her kids from a previous relationship health insurance, and Janelle Brown, whom he’s never married.)
On Nov. 2, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi made her relationship with her new boyfriend, Samy Benyamini, Instagram official. “I heard sharing is caring. Just make sure I get first dibs baby,” she captioned a photo with her beau, hinting at the unique nature of their relationship status. Later that day, Page Six reported that, according to a source, the “Shahs of Sunset” star and the Los Angeles-based personal trainer, who’s 10 years her junior, have been in a polyamorous relationship for about two months since meeting through her friend and “Shahs” co-star Reza Farahan.
During an Oct. 27 Q&A with fans on her Instagram Story, former “The Bachelorette” star Ashley Hebert revealed that she has a new boyfriend. It’s unlikely her new beau will ever become her second husband, though: When a fan asked if she’s open to tying the knot again following her late 2020 split from J.P. Rosenbaum, she replied, “Marriage complicates things. I [would] rather just love someone and choose to be with them.” The following day, Us Weekly reported that Ashley and J.P. — who got engaged on season 7 of the ABC show in 2011 and tied the knot in late 2012 — finalized their divorce on Oct. 7.
“Siesta Key” star Chloe Trautman took to Instagram on Nov. 4 to announce that she and Chris Long got engaged following an 8.2-mile hike at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah the previous day. “Yesterday I said YES to my soulmate in Fairyland,” the reality star captioned a slideshow of photos showing off her unique emerald engagement ring. “As I was standing at the overlook reflecting over all the emotions I felt throughout this hike, I heard Chris say my name and I turned around and there he was down on one knee. We both kind of blacked out and I remember breaking down in tears and saying how crazy this is! He asked me to marry him and I said YES! From the moment I met Chris I knew he was the one. I am in a state of pure bliss and I can’t believe I get to spend my life with my best friend!!!” It’s unclear how long they’ve been an item.
Although “Summer House” co-stars Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke have long maintained they’re just friends, the duo, who briefly dated back in 2019, sparked a fresh round of romance rumors when they dressed up as Frances “Baby” Houseman and Johnny Castle from “Dirty Dancing” for Halloween this year. Lindsay — who told “Southern Charm” star Austen Kroll that she was in love with him on a recent episode of the Bravo crossover series “Winter House” — shared a photo of their couples costume on Instagram on Oct. 31. She and Carl have appeared increasingly cozy with one another in recent weeks, though it’s possible, of course, that things between them are still platonic. “Carl and I have been best friends for years,” Lindsay said on the Nov. 3 episode of the “Reality Life with Kate Casey” podcast.
On the Nov. 2 episode of Paris Hilton’s “This Is Paris” podcast, JoJo Siwa confirmed recent reports that she and Kylie Prew recently called it quits after nearly a year of coupledom. “We broke up,” said the former child star. “But she is literally still my best friend. I talked to her yesterday. She just got a new puppy — she’s awesome. She’s having the time of her life, I’m having the time of my life. I’m really lucky that I didn’t lose her completely because, you know, even though relationships end, friendships don’t have to end.” The “Dance Moms” alum went on say that her ex is the “right person” but that they simply met at the “wrong time” due to her “hectic schedule” and their young ages. “I’m really happy that I remember all the fun times, all the good times, and nothing bad happened,” she added. “I would take a bullet for her, and I know she would do the same for me.”
Shanna Moakler’s off-and-on boyfriend, Matthew Rondeau, confirmed to Page Six on Oct. 28 that he and the model are giving it another go. “I admit… at that time… things were very difficult especially in our personal lives, which made things hard to focus on one another,” he said of their brief summer split. “However, Shanna and I have truly found what we needed more of and what was missing [which is] just to focus on the fun in life with one another and not letting anyone or anything take that away from us. We’re just taking things day by day [and] living our best life as a team and I truly am happy knowing that she’s by my side as we both continue to work hard every day on our individual goals.”
According to Brides magazine, which published exclusive wedding photos on Oct. 22, “Gossip Girl” star Jason Gotay and actor Michael Hartung tied the knot at The Kester Homestead in upstate New York on Oct. 11. The duo met in 2014 when they co-starred as Lost Boys in NBC’s “Peter Pan Live!” and got engaged in January 2021.
On Oct. 28, People magazine broke the news that “Bringing Up Bates” star Lawson Bates got engaged to his girlfriend of less than a year, Tiffany Espensen, at the Tenuta Larnianone estate in Tuscany while vacationing in Italy in late October. “Getting to know Tiffany — her heart, her passions, and her dreams — has been the greatest joy of my life, and we have been making so many wonderful memories together over the past year. … I was thrilled and overjoyed when she said, ‘YES!’ We are so grateful God brought us both into each other’s lives, and now we are overjoyed and excited to start preparing for our wedding and our future together,” the reality star told People, which published exclusive proposal pics. Chimed in the bride-to-be, “[Lawson] blew me away with this surprise! … I have no words for how excited I am to share a life with [him]. I am so grateful for how much effort he put into this engagement, from the ring to the beautiful setting and all of the coordinated details. This will always be a wonderful memory that Lawson and I will share forever. Most importantly, we thank God that He brought us together, and we look forward to sharing a life together in marriage!”
On Oct. 27, country music singer Ty Herndon took to Instagram to announce that he and his boyfriend of more than a decade, Matt Collum, recently called it quits. “After 11 beautiful years together, I want to let you know that Matt and I have decided to go our separate ways as life partners. However, we are committed to remaining lifelong friends, and I am confident that will be the case. We appreciate the support Nashville and so many of you have given us over the years and look forward to continuing a close relationship with each other and all of you. The Bible tells us that for everything there is a season. We both are looking forward to this next season of our lives with hope, optimism, and love,” he captioned a photo with his ex. The “What Mattered Most” singer publicly came out in 2014.
Country music star Travis Denning took to Instagram on Oct. 30 to announce that he recently proposed to his girlfriend of two and a half years, Madison Montgomery, in New York City’s Central Park. “Y’all might wanna swipe right and see that ring finger… #SheSaidYes,” he captioned a slideshow of photos from the proposal. He also captioned a montage video showing off the ring and other highlights from his relationship with Madison so far, “I knew after three months that you were the one. Honestly I think I knew the moment I met you. I feel like I’ve known you for a thousand years. We’ve been through so much together and I can’t wait for the rest around the corner. I wrote this song back in May 2019 about this moment. I love you.”
Multiple media outlets reported in late October that “Family Matters” alum Darius McCrary is engaged to Tanya James — the former long-term partner of late funk singer Rick James. It’s unclear when exactly the erstwhile Eddie Winslow popped the question, though he first started alluding to an engagement on social media several weeks ago.
People magazine reported on Nov. 3 that Kathie Lee Gifford’s daughter, “The Baxters” actress Cassidy Gifford, and Ben Wierda exchanged vows for the second time in front of friends and family in Nashville on Oct. 10. The couple first tied the knot in an extremely intimate ceremony in the backyard of the groom’s family home in Michigan in June 2020. (They initially planned to have a big wedding in Santa Barbara, California, but were forced to alter their plans amid the coronavirus pandemic.) “There is a different intimacy that comes with it, just knowing that’s your person forever and being able to share, from the mundane to the most profound moments in your life. It’s sharing the little, the big, all the things that otherwise might seem so silly to someone else,” Cassidy told People, which published exclusive wedding photos, of married life. “Ben’s my biggest champion, and I hope that I’m that for him, too. We’re learning something new about one another, every single day,” she added of her hubby.
On Oct. 27, singer-songwriter Emily Weisband — who’s penned tracks for Camila Cabello, BTS, Luke Bryan and more — took to Instagram to announce that she’s engaged to longtime love Dylan Toscano. “Someone asked me if I felt happy and it’s more than that… I feel peaceful. love love love love you @dylantoscano_,” she captioned a slideshow of photos depicting the moments immediately following the proposal. Her beau, meanwhile, captioned a photo of himself on bended knee, “I asked my best friend to marry me last night. The end.”
